Join HKCV
HKID card holders aged 6 or above are eligible to register with us to join our HKCV membership network. Individual applicants below age 15 will require written consent from either their parents or legal guardians. Interested parties could submit the "Hong Kong Community Volunteers Membership Application Form" or register via our online portal V-HK. Application fees apply. Once accepted, new members will be invited to attend the "Volunteer Orientation".
Each member is issued with a membership card with unique identification number, which will need to be quoted in all communications with us.
Matching Volunteers with Service Opportunities
HKCV members are the first to hear from us about the wide array of service opportunities that match their skill profiles and interests. Members who meet specific service requirements of the volunteer-seeking organizations may also be invited to express their interests in undertaking the designated volunteer assignments. For the latest opportunities, please check out our Volunteer Service Express or contact our Volunteer Action Centre directly.
Members referred to the volunteer-seeking organizations should discuss the service details and mutual expectations before accepting the assignments. Any issues or problems in relation to the services should be taken up with the responsible persons of the organizations concerned.
Members should refrain from conducting any forms of volunteer recruitment for any service opportunities without the prior consent of AVS.
